The photo captures me standing on a small wooden bridge over a fast mountain stream on the way to Langtang Valley, surrounded by gray rocks, steep cliffs, and rugged Himalayan terrain. This place is more than just a trekking route, as it stands near where the old Langtang settlement once carried life before a sudden landslide took it away. The rushing water, rocky landscape, and quiet surroundings hold both the raw adventure of the trek and the heavy memory of what remains.
