Half Moon in the Quiet Night Sky | Lunar Photography

Half-lit Moon showing craters and surface shadows against a dark sky

I photographed the half-lit Moon in two different compositions, moving from a closer view of its craters and surface shadows to a wider frame beside silhouetted branches and leaves. The close view brings out the lunar texture, while the wider image places the same subject among the familiar shapes of the trees.
